Hire from us and your Country Lanes bicycling equipment will be waiting for you, saving you the inconvenience and expense of transporting your own bikes and accessories.
Every item of Country Lanes equipment has been carefully selected for comfort, reliability and ease of use. This year, our fleet of top quality bicycles is built by Trek, Cube and GT, three of the world’s leading bicycle brands.

We work tirelessly to ensure you have a great day out when you hire from us. Every bike that is rented is cleaned and checked each day and we take every possible care to provide you with the very best equipment.
- All our bikes feature inner tubes filled with puncture sealant
- Our bikes come fully-equipped with a bottle cage
- Each group is sent out with map-carrying equipment, locks, puncture repair equipment and a pump
- Gel seat covers and pannier bags are available if required
We have two types of adult bike available. Our mountain bikes feature 24 gears and are ideally suited to the New Forest off-road trail network, and particularly our longer day routes. We use Trek 3900 mountain bikes, Cube Aim mountain bikes, and GT Avalanche 3.0 mountain bikes in fleet.
If a more leisurely ride is for you then our 21 speed hybrid mountain bikes may be a better option. These feature a higher handlebar position resulting in a more upright riding position, and a larger sprung saddle, both elements that make them particularly well suited to those who do not cycle frequently. We use Trek Navigator hybrid mountain bikes in fleet.
Other adult bikes on offer include our Trek T900 tandems, and adult disability trikes.
Our adult fleet is complemented by a full range of children’s equipment including 24in wheeled mountain bikes, 20in wheeled mountain bikes, tag-a-longs, Burley trailers and Hamax child seats.
