Hire from us and your Country Lanes bicycling equipment will be waiting for you, saving you the inconvenience and expense of transporting your own bikes and accessories.

Every item of Country Lanes equipment has been carefully selected for comfort, reliability and ease of use. This year our fleet of top quality bicycles is built by Ghost and Trek, two of the world’s leading bicycle brands.

We work hard to ensure you have a great day out when you hire from us. Every bike that is rented is cleaned and checked each day and we take every possible care to provide you with the very best equipment:

• Well-researched routes highlighting refreshment stops and attractions

• Puncture-resist tyres to ensure trouble-free riding

• Map-carrying equipment & locks

• In case the worst happens, puncture repair equipment and a pump

• Gel seat covers and pannier bags are available if required

We have two types of adult bike available.

Our mountain bikes feature 24 gears and are ideally suited to the New Forest off-road trail network, and particularly our longer day routes. Our hire fleet includes :  Trek 3900 and we are also moving over to use the excellent bikes produced by 'Ghost' a popular European brand that is gaining a cult following in the UK.

If a more leisurely ride is for you then our 21 speed hybrid mountain bikes may be a better option. These feature a higher handlebar resulting in a more upright riding position, and along with a larger sprung saddle, are particularly well suited to those who do not cycle frequently.

Other adult bikes on offer include our Trek T900 tandems, and our Ghost Cross 700c wheeled hybrid bikes.

Our adult fleet is complemented by a full range of children’s equipment including 24in wheeled mountain bikes, 20in wheeled mountain bikes, tag-a-longs, Burley trailers (from 18 months) and Hamax child seats (from 10 months).
