Pedal at your own pace and explore Britain's newest National Park. This self-guided short break includes quality bed & breakfast accommodation. A suggested itinerary is given, but can be tailored to your exact requirements using all of our available routes.

DAY 1 – Arrival – Tall Trees and Deer Fields – 8.5 / 11 miles
Your first ride in the forest is a short one but takes in some truly beautiful parts of the forest. The ride starts with a cycle across White Moor, before taking in the National Parks Arboretum and Tall Trees area. From there it is through the forest on off road tracks, where you should see Deer, and there is the option to stop at the Oak Inn for a drink.
DAY 2 - Burley Loop - 23 miles
Today’s the chance to appreciate the depth of history in this corner of Hampshire. Your first stop is the Knightwood Oak – the oldest tree in the New Forest – before pressing on to Burley, hidden deep among the trees. The village was a famous centre for smuggling and is renowned for its association with witches both ancient and modern, so beware of black cats and broomsticks! Your route back to the hotel sees you pedalling in the wheel tracks of the industrial revolution along the disused railway line.
DAY 3 – Beaulieu & Buckler’s Hard – 23 miles
It’s a gentle ride along wooded lanes to historic Beaulieu with its Abbey, village pond and antique shops. Along the way look out for New Forest ponies grazing in villages of pretty thatched cottages and linger a while glimpse the sea across Beaulieu Heath. Enjoy a leisurely lunch in Beaulieu village before heading back to Brockenhurst via the picturesque village of Buckler’s Hard on the banks of the Beaulieu River, site of one of Nelson’s shipyards. Return your bikes to the cycle centre alongside Brockenhurst Station at the end of a magical three days in England’s newest National Park.
